Hannah Fernando graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Multimedia Journalism, specialising in sport and politics. Her first step in an impressive career started with her working for News Corp for four years before moving to heat magazine. It was not long before she became News Editor and she ended up as Acting Editor at heat before being poached by TimeInc as Executive Editor on Now magazine.

When the company was bought by TI-media, Hannah was appointed as Celebrity Brand Director across the women’s lifestyle portfolio, including Woman, Woman’s Own, Woman’s Weekly and Woman & Home. A subsequent purchase of the business by Future plc saw Hannah become Editor of Woman magazine as well as Group Celebrity Director across their women’s lifestyle vertical. Most recently Hannah has been appointed Group Editor of woman&home and Woman magazine.

Hannah also presents a podcast, Bingewatch, and regularly appears on radio and  television, contributing to BBC, GMB, This Morning, Sky News, Channel 5 and CNN. She has also presented What the Papers Say. Hannah has written a number of books and knows everyone in the world of celebrity. She is currently studying for a Law Degree and is qualified to legal secretary status. This means she has a good understanding of both contract law and media law.  Hannah speaks on celebrity, the younger Royals, women’s lifestyle, motherhood and women in business.

She is a mum of two, is passionate about renovating her old farmhouse and studies law in her spare time.
