Sonia Beldom is TV Producer, Speaker and Writer. She is also a Performance Coach, Therapist, Mentor and Media Trainer. Her background is in radio production and TV where she has devised shows for Victoria Wood, Robson Green, The Hairy Bikers and John Sergeant.
When Sonia isn’t busy devising programmes or working from her Harley Street Clinic, she drives a heritage Route Master double-decker bus. Her first book, published in June 2020, is called Granny Franny’s Big Red Bus

Sonia Beldom has many strings to her bow. She is a creative consultant, performance coach and therapist. Furthermore she designs courses in public speaking, personal development, customer service and creative brand development.
In addition Sonia works one-to-one with clients on confidence issues, anxiety and re-aligning thoughts, behaviours and actions that limit us in life.
Sonia’s career started as a BBC Radio producer working with people such as Chas & Dave, Terry Wogan, Jerry Hall, Gyles Brandreth and Bobby Crush. She was then headhunted as a TV Development Exec for Tiger Aspect, BBC Entertainment, Mentorn and ITN before forming her own production company, Babygrand Productions.
Sonia spent her formative years dealing with her mentally ill mum. Her blog Sonia’s Mum is based on her experiences. It describes her’s and her mum’s hilarious antics, where she tells personal stories and highlights the issues of growing up with a mentally ill parent. These same experience equipped her in communication skills and stay calm under pressure. She is an expert on how to bring creativity into every aspect of your life.
When Sonia started blogging about her mum, the stories spread like wildfire. Jeremy Vine invited her onto his Radio 2 show. As a result she is now regularly invited to speak about mental health.

A media advocate for MIND, the mental health charity Sonia also regularly speaks to schools about increasing confidence and improving personal presentation skills.
