More about Rachel Agnew
After twenty years as a music industry marketeer Rachel Agnew became self-employed in 2008 and spends most of her time these days marketing UK tours by a diverse range of musicians. She has worked for Alexander Armstrong, Jimmy Webb and Elaine Paige, a symphonic Led Zeppelin Masters orchestral tour as well as Lulu’s biggest ever UK tour.
Rachel wrote a witty and insightful column for the West London newspaper group about a wide range of everyday topics. And her speeches are delivered in the same style. She talks honestly about her good and bad times and how her positive, half-full attitude has helped her overcome the bad ones. She motivates and inspires with innate warmth, honesty and humour. Her talks have been described as inspiring, dynamic and funny.
Rachel loves speaking, whether it is as a keynote to a women’s organisation or after dinner speaker to a corporate audience, and she is also an experienced presenter, host, facilitator and charity auctioneer.
Her speaking voice has also been put to good use on a wide variety of voiceover work. She says her favourite job was recording a video voiceover explaining how to de-flea your dogs and cats.

Testimonials
‘Rachel spoke at the Working Woman Expo in Sheffield. She is confident, entertaining & full of inspiration; her talk was fun, energetic and sincere, simply a delight on stage and utterly professional off stage. She tuned into the audience and engaged them with a light hearted style, a pure breath of fresh air. A highly professional lady, with heaps of energy and positivity. She is a great speaker and inspired the audience with her accounts of her experiences both in her working and personal life. I would definitely recommend her to any group looking for a fantastic inspirational speaker and a bit of fun.’
Michelle Berhanu, Working Woman
‘Rachel was an absolute pleasure to work with on this year’s Cumbria Tourism Awards. She listened to everything we wanted and pitched the presentation perfectly. Down to earth, loads of fun, genuine and professional is how I’d describe her. We would not hesitate to book Rachel for any future event. A real hit with our audience – thank you!’
Event Director, Cinnamon Creative Events for the Cumbria Tourism Awards
‘The reason that I asked you to come and present The Queen’s Nursing Institute Communications Workshop was because I was looking for a fun, dynamic and inspirational end to the day and boy that is what I got. I have a feeling that the workshop yesterday will be remembered for your session alone by those who attended. You were fun, outgoing and simply a joy to watch and you left everyone who attended with golden nuggets of information about how to manage an audience. What made your session so much fun was not only the huge amount of energy and life that you brought to the presentation but the anecdotal stories and experiences that you talked about throughout. Thank you so much for agreeing to present at our workshop, you were a perfect end to a perfect day!!’
Alison Blackman, The Queen’s Nursing Institute
‘Rachel Agnew presented the Pride in Our People Awardsat the Ealing Gazette and Thames Valley University Pride in Our People Awards. She was a perfect choice for the event and was thoroughly professional throughout the whole evening and more than met our expectations for a celebrity awards presenter. Rachel has a great personality and was ease throughout the evening with prize winners and local dignitaries and certainly endeared herself to the audience.’
